Project Description
The current 6 tennis courts originally built in 1978 are deteriorating. A park site master plan for Maxwell Park has recommended removal of existing and installation of 8 new courts that are realigned to allow for better instructor, coach and spectator viewing. New subsurface, new asphalt overlay, tennis surface, fencing and lighting. This new tennis facility will accommodate lessons and other Parks & Recreation activities as well as host to Unit 5 tennis teams and matches.

Anticipated Future Operating Impact
Initial budget impact will be minimal. Lines will need to be repainted approximately every 3-5 years, new nets every 3 years.
